As a memorial to the victims of the 2o10 tsunami in Japan, the owner of a 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail that washed across the Pacific Ocean in a shipping container and was discovered in British Columbia has asked for it to be displayed at the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee. Harley offered to restore or replace the motorcycle, but Ikuo Yokoyama — who’s still living in temporary housing — said it should be preserved instead.

Kate Upton may be one of the world’s hottest models at the moment, and Mercedes-Benz may be paying several million dollars for her to star in its upcoming Super Bowl ad, but this 90-second teaser of Upton “washing” a new Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan leaves me disturbed. My God, those sponges look like they came half off at the dollar store. No one’s even touching the wheels. That bucket’s probably filled with dishwashing liquid! No way Justin Verlander lets her clean his Mercedes SLS this way.
