  1. salal-berriesFOOD- find food that isn’t man made, wild foods may be hard to find for the un-knowing eye but in reality you can find a plethora of treats like bugs wild berries wild vegetables and wild animals. Food keeps you going if you don’t eat you don’t survive, yea it might not taste the best but what other choice do you have you have to assume that everything is gone and there’s a 4-6 month grace period before you can go back into a city or once populated area to look around, DON’T HEAVILY RELY ON WHAT YOU ONCE KNEW… it may not exist…Delaware River Fall

  2. WATER- why not just raid a store you ask? Well because if you can find a river on a map, get there its usually a never ending supply of water it may not be 100% safe so take it slow scout it out for a bit and make sure that you won’t get attacked by a random animal or human… THERES ALWAYS MORE WATER LOOK IN THE MAP…if you have to hike a decent ways to get there it’s probably worth it…cavesSHELTER- a hidden fort type or cabin in the woods but if no better choices come along, a cave is good. Close to the water but not too close it gets cold and others will want the water as well and build a wall of cover for the entrance for the cave so that no one finds you not even a bear. KEEP YOURSELF CLEAN BUT DON’T SMELL PRETTY IT’S A DEAD GIVE-A-WAY.729857997775lg
    1. TOOLS- a few things to bring in that over-sized duffle bag and back pack, like what? Well good strong rope at least 100ft, a map of where you are going, tools to build stuff like a standard hand saw, a mallet, a hammer, lots of nails, a few rolls of twine and books that give you information on the land like what berries to eat and what plants to touch what to look out for if you get bit by something. TRY NOT TO GET BIT.First Aid Kit
      1. HEALTH- bring a few health kits and a sewing kit because you never know when you might slip on a rock and cut yourself open, needing stitches and taking care of a cut may just be that one thing that keeps you alive, but also bring a good change of clothes and a nice heavy jacket and hiking boots and NO SHORTS!!!weapons1
        1. WEAPONS- now it may not always be the right choice but it might be the difference between life and death carry a knife on you at all time a big one and a medium sized one and if you have a way to get guns and ammo stick with 3 a shot gun a pistol and a rifle and keep them silenced if possible because it will keep you covered and a cross bow is always good ALWAYS.images
          1. COMPANY- well there’s strength in numbers and that’s a fact but having too many people may slow you down and complicate things keep your group small healthy and strong and remember multiplying may not be the best choice right now, you live in a cave and your trying to keep quiet, why would you risk that by having a baby. insanity3
            1. SANITY- how to keep it during this whole process, everyone has their vices but I recommend alcohol, get the strong stuff 4 shots are better than half a bottle, books bring a few and maybe a dry erase board nothing too big but it’s good to let your anger, frustration, boredom, collaborate into one thing so get drunk and draw, build fun stuff to goof off with or just practice your combat.hammer-fist
              1. COMBAT- know your way out and in know your way around the land and know your way around your weapons and learn to build traps with all those tools and twine that you brought, if a group of enemies is headed your way pick them off from a distance and try to break them up, HAVE A BATTLE PLAN !!!!!gen_fitness01_lg
                1. COMFORT AND PHYSICAL HEALTH- now you’re in a cave your settled in and in pain from the ground you sleep on, make sure you have something comfortable to sleep or sit on, and stretch when you wake up and stretch after you’ve been sitting for a bit, and stretch before you leave the cave KEEP YOURSELF limber, if you have to run away or you have to go on a food and water hike you might as well make sure you don’t cramp up and that your comfy doing all that walking or running.
